Athletic Supporters great for Sports

Athletic Supporters have many uses but were originally designed as an undergarment for added genital support typically used during sports or other physical activity.  More recently fashion jockstraps have become more and more common and are typically worn both for support and as regular underwear.

A jockstrap athletic supporter consists of a waistband (usually fabricated of elastic) with a contoured support pouch for the genitalia.  Two elastic leg straps are attached to the base of the pouch and to both sides of the waistband at the hip. The pouch, in some varieties which are called cup supporters, contains a pocket to hold an soft cup or impact resistant hard cup to protect the testicles and/or the penis from injury. Typically athletic cup supporters are worn for high impact sports including football, as well as baseball and running.
